WOODSTOCK AIR AT WOODLANDS

My family and I attended the John Fogerty concert in August at the Cynthia
Woods Pavilion in The Woodlands. John Fogerty has long been a family
favorite of ours and we all looked forward to seeing him in concert.

My parents had driven in from out of town and my daughter was home for
summer break. As my husband and I rarely get everyone together, the evening
was special to us. As we were listening to the warm-up band, the stench of
marijuana smoke began bellowing around us. Actually there were several
groups of people smoking openly, freely and without a care as to others who
may be around and possibly offended by the noxious smoke.

As the evening progressed (alcohol and pot flowing and puffing with gusto),
the group of people in front of us became increasingly loud and obnoxious.
They stood in front of us, dancing and slinging beer everywhere. When we
politely asked them to sit so we could see, they responded by chanting
obscenities. Finally, one of these cretins slung beer into the faces of my
father, mother and daughter.

By this time we were so disgusted the night was ruined and over as far as we
were concerned.

I am truly appalled that our freedoms are so grotesquely abused, that decent
people can't even attend a public function without being harassed and
insulted.

If you have ever been to a concert at the Pavilion, you know their lax
method of searching purses and bags. Dope sniffing dogs would certainly be a
deterrent for these drug carriers.
