2 MORE OFFICERS TO JOIN E. HAVEN DARE PROGRAM
EAST HAVEN - The Police Department plans to train two more officers to
be part of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program.
Officers Michael Sorbo and Michael D'Amato will join the program,
which aims to teach young people about the dangers of drug and alcohol
abuse.
The move, announced by Chief Leonard Gallo, will effectively triple
the department's commitment to the program. Currently, one officer,
Nick Palladino, works in the program.
