DEADLY METH LAB PROBE
Peel police are still trying determine how much crystal meth could
have been cranked out of a Mississauga super lab that exploded,
leaving one man dead and another in critical condition.
Const. John Farquharson of the Peel Morality squad said they pulled
out over 20 pounds of ephedrine from the Mariner Ct. townhouse but no
finished crystal meth product as of yet.
"What was seized from the house was a lot of chemicals," Farquharson
said. "Everything has been tested and is now in the hands of a Health
Canada chemist."
The entire house was set up for methamphetamine production before it
exploded into flames on July 23.
The fire was caused by a buildup of vapours in the kitchen area that
ignited and flashed over.
