DRUG PLAN WILL LURE MORE ADDICTS TO VANCOUVER

Re: Mayor seeks drug maintenance for cocaine and meth addicts, Aug. 1

The Lower Mainland already attracts a disproportionate number of
Canada's addicts and street people because of the year-round temperate
climate and charitable social safety net. Vancouver Mayor Sam
Sullivan's plan for drug maintenance programs ensures that we will
continue to attract and subsidize other jurisdiction's problems while
adding to our own inventory of street people.
