Dear Readers - National Public Radio, in their news shows, has usually
provided frequent and good coverage of our issues. This week their
'Marketplace' evening show is conducting a survey about marijuana. The
results will be announced on the air Friday. Note that the poll site also
has a link to a discussion of the issue. From the poll website announcement:

This Week's Poll

On November 4th, voters in several U.S. states passed initiatives
legalizing marijuana for medical purposes. These follow a similar ballot
measure that passed a couple years ago in California. It's an international
issue, with lawmakers in Britain debating whether cannabis should be
legalized for medical use. What do you think about legalization...

Yes, for any use.
