FREE POT GROWERS, JAIL MOLESTERS FOR LIFE
Re: Peter Whitmore and "Arrest prompts hard
questions about pedophiles" -- story, Aug. 3.
There would be a lot more space and a lot more money to deal with
repeat child molesters if our jails weren't full of non-violent drug
offenders. This is just one more example of how the "War On Certain
Drugs" is only making things worse.
Maybe someone in the police force would have been able to keep an eye
on (repeat offender) Peter Whitmore if so many officers weren't on
"garden duty," tearing out pot plants from basements and fields across
the country.
Maybe Canadians should lobby their governments to set all the pot
growers free and put every convicted child molester behind bars for
life? Nah, that would be the sensible thing to do.
