HEROIN MENACED HIS SON. SO HARRY FOUGHT BACK
WHEN Harry Niceski was told his son was taking heroin, he took the law into
his own hands.
Seizing a wooden plank, he stormed into a house ripping a screen door from
its hinges in his hurry to rescue his son.
He told a court yesterday: "I only have two sons - I don't have one to spare.
"He might do something silly and kill himself."
Niceski was found guilty in the District Court in Queanbeyan of assaulting
three other teenagers as he tried to bring his son home.
Sentencing him to a $1000, two-year good behaviour bond on each of three
charges, Justice Kenneth Taylor said: "The widespread use of illegal drugs
in the community leaves very few families untouched.
