OPERATION HAZELDONK

For the ninth time, from the 25th to the 27th of November, Operation
Hazeldonk was conducted in the ongoing repression of drug tourism
between France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Holland. The campaign,
employing 1,500 police and customs agents, resulted in the questioning
of 192 persons and the seizure of 8 kg of drugs. This operation was
begun with the targeting of 52 automobiles registered in France and
seen in areas of Holland known for the sale of drugs.
