ROBBIE PRAISED FOR HEROIN CONFESSION
LATEST: Robbie Williams has been praised by
anti-drugs campaigners for confessing to taking heroin.
The pop superstar revealed yesterday (05-DEC-98) he snorted the drug
when his dealer had no cocaine for him. He said, "It was the worst
experience of my life and I can say, hand on heart, that I will never
do it again.
"Heroin is evil - nobody should go near it. It was an appalling thing
to do."
Now Britain's anti-drugs chief KEITH HALLIWELL is urging Robbie to
join him in his crusade.
Halliwell, the British Government's special drugs advisor, says,
"Robbie's influence on young people is enormous." (WNSNE/VC)
