WATAUGA COUPLE INDICTED IN DRUG MANUFACTURE CASE

FORT WORTH -- A Watauga husband and wife have been indicted in
connection with the manufacture of the illegal drug gamma hydroxy
butyrate, or GHB, officials said yesterday.

Chris Wadleigh, 33, and his wife, Stormy Wadleigh, 30, each were
indicted Wednesday by a Tarrant County grand jury on a first-degree
felony charge of manufacturing a controlled substance, officials said.
They are free on $10,000 bail each.

The couple were arrested July 9 at their house in the 5800 block of
Rosalyn Drive in Watauga, authorities said. Drug agents accused the
couple of cooking GHB on demand. GHB gives users a potent but
extremely dangerous high, drug experts say.

If convicted, the Wadleighs each could face up to 99 years in prison
and up to a $100,000 fine, officials said.
