CAPISTRANO DRUG AGENT FACES NEW CHARGES
A former special agent with the Bureau of Narcotics was indicted by a Los
Angeles grand jury for alleged money laundering and failing to pay taxes on
funds he allegedly made selling drugs, the Department of Justice reported
Friday.
Richard Wayne Parker, 43, of San Juan Capistrano also has been accused of
stealing 500 pounds of cocaine.
The new indictment alleges that Parker used drug money to buy a 1998
Chevrolet truck.
He was previously charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and
possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.
