ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES -- Rastafarians from the Eastern Caribbean
have condemned destruction of marijuana fields in St. Vincent by troops
attached to the Regional Security System, local police, members of the
United States Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Marines. The 10-day
marijuana eradication exercise netted more than a million mature marijuana
plants and seedlings on 302 plots. The task force also burned 148 huts.
