4 LA WOMAN ARRESTED IN NY MARIJUANA BUST
Four woman were arrested at New York's La Guardia Airport on Saturday
after they picked up 13 suitcases filled with an estimated $1 million
worth of marijuana, police said.
Port Authority police made the arrests after being tipped off that
the 400 pounds of drugs were being brought to New York on an American
Airlines flight from Los Angeles, police said.
The four, all from Los Angeles, were charged with criminal possession
of drugs, he said.
Police did not immediately release the names of the suspects or any
further details.
