NEW BLOOD IN MICHIGAN WAR ON DRUGS

(LANSING) - Two term-limited state representatives have begun new careers
in Michigan on the war against drugs. Candace Curtis has been named
executive director of the state's DARE program operated by Michigan State
University's School of Criminal Justice. Jim McBryde will become a special
assistant for drug policy for the state Department of Community Health. His
new post also will focus on drugs-in-schools issues.
