FOUR SAN DIEGO WOMEN IN CUSTODY, ID'D

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 12 (UPI) - Police say an anonymous tip led them to four San
Diego County women who picked up 13 suitcases at New York's La Guardia
Airport filled with about $1 million worth of marijuana. Port Authority
police arrested the women on Saturday after learning that 400 pounds of
drugs were being brought to New York on an American Airlines flight from
Los Angeles. The women were identified as 27-year-old Margaret Savage of
Lakeside; 22-year-old Sheri- Rae Brown and Amy Shewmake of El Cajon; and
21-year-old Dawn Bailey of El Cajon. Detective George Dorner says the women
faces charges of criminal possession of drugs.
