A HEAPING BOWL OF HEMP
Lexington, Ky -- The Kentucky Hemp Growers Cooperative Association, one of
the countrys leading groups advocating the legalization of industrial hemp
in America, recently conducted a study of the effects of eating foods
made, cooked, or fed with a hemp-based product. Urine samples from the six
participants, both prior to and following the hemp meal, tested negative
for THC, the chemical substance in hemps sister marijuana that makes the
weed illegal.
Although this doesnt exactly constitute irrefutable data obtained form an
experiment based on the scientific method, it does send yet another message
to our policy makers that industrial hemp has practically unlimited
potential in todays marketplace.
