86-YEAR-OLD WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING
LIPETSK, - A 86-year-old woman, a resident of
Russia's city of Lipetsk, has been arrested for attempting to sell
marijuana to a 12- year-old schoolboy.
The chief of the local department for drug trafficking, colonel Arkady
Slepokurov, said that drug dealers often sell narcotics through
elderly people or teenagers.
The officer also said that the number of people involved in drug
trafficking was not decreasing this year as compared to 1998.
