DRUG TESTS WITH NO DUE PROCESS? START HIGHER UP
If we start taking civil liberties away from students in public
schools without due process of law, it will be much easier to
continue to take away their civil liberties as adults, such as
through illegal wiretaps ("Drug-testing program sparks rights
debate," Aug. 3).
If we must move in the direction of random drug tests without due
process of law, we should start with the agencies, boards,
commissions and their staff that want to move this country in that direction.
