POLICE INVESTIGATE BOTCHED ARRESTS

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Feb. 22 (UPI) - Police in North Miami Beach are
investigating the details of an undercover drug sting that ended in the
wounding of one of the two suspects Sunday.

FBI agents and North Miami Beach officers had just finished a purchase of
one kilogram of cocaine when one of the two suspects was shot while the
arrests were being made.

Police will not comment on how or why one of the suspects was shot. The
unidentified man is in critical condition.

The second suspect in the drug deal was arrested and charged with
conspiracy and possession with intention to distribute cocaine.
