CHILDREN THE REAL VICTIMS
IN reading the many recent articles on the victims of heroin addiction in
Melbourne, I have noticed one very disturbing trend. It appears that
everyone who has died from a heroin overdose has been a "good" person, with
a "bright future", or "good parents" whose children "always came first".
What a load of rubbish! Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows not to
touch heroin and any parent who becomes attached to a drug with such severe
consequences obviously doesn't hold their children's welfare in any regard.
These people aren't the real victims of the heroin crisis. The real victims
are the loved ones they leave behind and the community left to deal with
their stupidity and selfishness.
