GUNS AND DRUGS. ISN'T LIFE STRANGE?
POSSESSION of it is illegal and its use can kill. What is the
solution? Many, like Jim Coates (Letters, March 5) advocate zero
tolerance and harsher penalties, while others push more liberal
restrictions. It is interesting that if you infer "it" to be an
automatic firearm the majority of people (and the Press) seem to
favour the former, while it you take "it" as heroin, the general
opinion seems to be the latter. Same basic premise with different
results. Isn't life strange?
