PROVE GUILT FIRST
CHICAGO -- You ran two views March 3 on the get-tough attitude of the
New York mayor who desires to punish first and try later. I in no way
want to allow drunk drivers to do what they did to the one
letter-writer's family. But I will not stand silent while
headline-seeking politicians try to trample on the
constitution.
