GM WORKERS ACCUSED OF SELLING DRUGS

Doraville, Georgia -- Thirteen employees of a General Motors assembly plant
have been arrested and accused of selling drugs to an undercover police
officer who spent 18 months posing as a co-worker.

The workers were arrested Thursday and Friday at the plant 12 miles
northeast of Atlanta.

"We pretty much caught them by surprise," said Doraville police Col.
Clifford Edwards.

Edwards said the officer worked on the assembly line before purchasing
cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines and bootleg whiskey.
