RESEARCH SHOWS ALCOHOL USE KILLS

"Clearance for Medicinal Use of Marijuana"! Isn't it amazing that we
continue the prohibition of this relatively harmless plant while we
tolerate the use of alcoholic beverages? Research shows that beer and wine
kill more teen-agers and young people than all other drugs combined.
Additionally, use of alcoholic beverages contributes to a majority of all
violent crimes. At a time when tobacco and firearm producers are being
forced to pay the costs to society of their products, isn't it time we
extended the same principle to the producers of alcoholic beverages?
