CANADIANS PLEAD GUILTY TO TRAFFICKING
LOS ANGELES, March 30 (UPI) - Federal prosecutors in Los Angeles say three
Canadians linked to an international drug ring that purchased heroin from
indigenous farmers in Pakistan and conspired to move the drug to North
America have pleaded guilty to federal charges.
Thirty-five-year-old Diven Karan Nair and 27-year-old Yadvinder Singh Kallu
of Richmond, British Columbia, and 21-year-old Mandeep Dosanjh of Surrey,
British Columbia, were indicted along with four others.
Three of those four suspects are fighting extraditon from Canada to the
United States.
