THREE CHARGED IN DRUGS-BY-MAIL BUSINESS
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., March 31 (UPI) - Two Florida State University
students and a third man have been arrested for allegedly running a
mail order business in which they packaged and shipped kits to make
the illegal drug GHB - a liquid depressant popular in the rave and
club scenes.
Charged with possession with intent to sell GHB are the students -
Philip Hinton and Adam Worobec, both 20 - and Jeffrey Sherman, also
20.
Investigators say the trio's illegal operation came to their attention
after a box containing a GHB kit was returned to a local shipper as
undeliverable.
Employees trying to determine who the box belonged to opened it,
discovered the kit and alerted authorities.
