MAN, COCAINE SEIZED
Cocaine with an estimated street value of $54 million was seized from a van
and garage in the Logan Square neighborhood, according to police. Fernando
Rocha-Soto, 20, of the 5000 block of West Wrightwood, was arrested late
Thursday with 110 pounds of the drug in a van, police said. They said they
found about 946 pounds in his garage. Soto, who police said came to the
United States from Mexico two weeks ago, was charged with possession of
cocaine with intent to deliver, authorities said.
