DRIVER WHO HELPED JAIL DRUG GANG IS FOUND DEAD
A LORRY driver who helped police convict a gang of international drugs
dealers because of his wife's alleged addiction has been found dead at
his home.
Chris Brooker, 50, of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, said in a note
that he had decided to kill himself because his wife had returned to
drugs. Mr Brooker, was given a false identity by Customs officials
after Operation Tabasco resulted in five men being jailed for a total
of 31 years.
