IN DENIAL

I really appreciated W.P. Kinsella's column on Sunday.

Unless "druggies" choose to get off drugs, how is the safe-injection
site helping?

We as a society are the ones who are in denial about using tax dollars
to feed their illegal habit. The concern about drug addicts dying is
so lame.

We all die. Their problem is that they choose not to live. They are
just existing. They are the ones sticking the needle into themselves.
And we're stuck babysitting these "helpless victims."

Life ain't easy any time. Making choices and being accountable are
facts of life we all have to deal with.
