REPUBLICANS ARE NOT THE CHAMPIONS THEY CLAIM ON INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS

I find it interesting that Republicans always say they represent
individual freedom in this country, yet when push comes to shove,
these same Republicans make laws that take away personal freedoms.

On abortion, Republicans are pro-life, meaning that they would deny
rights to individuals to terminate a pregnancy they don't want.

On gay rights, Republicans are against allowing gays to marry for
many various reasons, including it being offensive to their God. (Are
all Americans Christian?)

Finally, on the personal use of drugs in the home, Republicans are
fervently opposed. Reasons given include "I don't want my kids
exposed" or "This is immoral."

I question and I am offended by people trying to tell me how I should
choose to live my life, even when I am not infringing on the rights
of others. The Republicans today are so far away from the American
ideal of freedom; they have forgotten the U.S. Constitution and the
Bill of Rights, and they have forgotten what it is Americans stand up for.

If you don't like what someone does in their own home, then don't
look at it. It's really none of your business. If you don't like
someone else's lifestyle, then go live your own life. You should be
too busy living your life to pay attention to what others are living in theirs.
