DO-GOODERS WRONG
THE law states that it is a crime to take illegal drugs. The law also
states that it is a crime to commit armed robbery.
The do-gooders rally around the drug takers to find excuses for them
and are now also breaking the law themselves to help them.
If they (the do-gooders) were to assist armed robbers in a similar
fashion, and said they were trying to save lives by accompanying
robbers and providing the weapons and a car and driver, should their
actions be considered any less reprehensible or illegal?
The second proposition is almost laughable, but, is it any different?
In both cases, the do-gooders would clearly be breaking the law.
