MARIJUANA LAWS WILL BE DISCUSSED
NEW HAVEN - A public forum on federal and state marijuana laws will be held
Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Dwight Hall at Yale, 67 High St.
The forum, "Marijuana Prohibition: Why It Must End," is sponsored by the
Connecticut Cannabis Policy Forum, based in Naugatuck. This group advocates
removal of all penalties for the adult use of marijuana.
Speakers will include Mike Gogulski, executive director of CCPF; Mark
Braunstein, a plaintiff in a federal medical marijuana class-action lawsuit;
and John Kardaras, attorney for Community-Based Solution. Discussion will
follow.
