CORNELL CORRECTIONS TO BUY 45 PRISON SITES
Cornell Corrections plans to buy 45 sites from Interventions, a nonprofit
corporation in Chicago, Cornell said Tuesday.
The Houston-based prison management company will not disclose details of the
deal until July, when it is expected to be completed.
The adult and juvenile sites slated for purchase from Interventions generate
annual revenues of more than $21 million.
Currently, Cornell operates 55 facilities in 12 states and the District of
Columbia. These prisons can hold 12,563 inmates.
