REPORT: STRAWBERRY MAY PLEAD NO CONTEST

(NEW YORK) The New York Post reports Yankee slugger Darryl Strawberry is
considering entering a no-contest plea to charges of cocaine possession and
soliciting an undercover police officer for sex. He would not be admitting
or denying the charges with the plea.

If it is accepted, the charges could be dropped, or Strawberry could be put
on probation. He reportedly hopes to resume his career after being
disciplined by Major League baseball.
