Despite two major setbacks this week,prosecutors in Mexico defended their
case against the world's biggest methamphetamine gang and vowed Friday to
bring to justice the brothers accused of leading it. The United States said
the Amezcua brothers ran the most prominent methamphetamine smuggling
organization in the world,and is seeking the extradition of two
brothers-Jesus and Luis-on drug-smuggling charges.
