If police officers had used the methods employed by the News of the
World to entrap Dallaglio, they would have been accused of improper
conduct and the entire tabloid press would be baying for their blood.

The NoW editor says he is motivated by public spirit and is concerned
about illegal drug abuse. If that is true, he should have given the
evidence to the police, not used it to sell more papers.
