WHO GETS TO GROW POT?

SO WHO gets to grow pot? With the recent Ontario Supreme Court allowance for
marijuana to be cultivated, carried and consumed for medical purposes, a
debate will soon rise over who becomes the greenhouse keeper. Health
Minister Allan Rock and B.C. Reform MP Chuck Cadman have already got their
dibs in the House over the government's right to become a supplier of the
magical weed. An industry already exists and the health benefits to patients
is proven. If anyone should produce the stuff, why should they be the ones
to profit? How about licensing those who already do a good job of growing
it?
