DRUG SUSPECT KILLED BY SHERIFFS DEPUTIES
ROME CITY, Ind. - Three Noble County sheriffs deputies shot and killed a
Rome City man early Saturday while serving a warrant to search for drugs at
the mans apartment.
Jack Gibson, 26, was shot multiple times after refusing to put down a
handgun he had aimed at officers, Noble County Prosecutor Steven Clouse said.
Police were investigating Gibson for six months because deputies had
received tips he was dealing drugs from the apartment.
