Five hundred years ago progressive thinkers were touting the virtues of a
newly discovered herb as being able to alleviate the symptoms of a variety
of ailments. It has taken five centuries to determine the incidence of
tobacco-related diseases far outweighs any "medicinal value" it might have.
Let's not make the same mistake with marijuana.
