DRUG CZAR IS WRONG,BUT HE DOESN'T DARE ADMIT IT

In somewhat the same way vampires dread the light of day,our "czar" dreads
the clarity of truth["Drug czar dodges medical marijuana
facts,"Editorial,July 23].And Gen. McCaffrey has good reason to feel this
way.He has many unpleasantries to disguise and many lies to protect.

He cannot afford to back away even in the slightest from the myth he is
pushing:that the use of any and all(illegal)drugs,including marijuana,is so
dangerous and horrible that it fully justifies emergency measures
including,among other things, draconian prison sentences.

To yield or concede even the slightest could well bring about the collapse
of his vacuous"drug War,"along with the immense new government powers that
accompany it.

Czar McCaffrey is a sometime liar with a very agenda and goal,and he will
not let anything deter him,especially scientific evidence that clearly
contradicts his dogma.In my view,the man is very dangerous and deserves
nothing less from us than zero tolerance
