Bravo, Mr Carr. You have done absolutely the right thing in allowing a
trial of an injecting room.

Despite the criticism of some, I firmly believe that time will show
the critics that this is a true win-win situation: harm minimisation
for drug users and real benefits for the community at large.

A dose of realism and practical street level policy is sorely needed
in the battle to control the harmful effects of drug abuse.
