LEGAL OPIUM DENS WILL INCREASE HEROIN DEMAND
The NSW proposal to trial injecting rooms is criminal and we in Victoria
don't want them if recent surveys are any indication.
Australian do want the death penalty, however, for the worst criminals such
as deadly drug importers and manufacturers.
If heroin users can't be trained to use needle-disposal bins then what hope
do they have of finding and using injecting rooms.
To those ALP and Liberal MPs who support the safe opium-den proposal may
I suggest that if the go-ahead is given then they set up their drug dens in
their own electorates first.
Legal opium dens will only increase demand for heroin, discourage many who
might be considering stopping the habit and will encourage potential users
to try it out.
The capture of the Toorak" drug barons and their imported death must be
pursued ruthlessly even if some civil liberties have to be compromised in
doing so.
MPs, councillors, churches and other groups that support drug use should be
denied support and finances by the community.
