BUSH: COULD THERE BE REASON FOR HIS SILENCE?

Come on, George W.Bush, admit it already. The consequences of admission
can't hurt you as much as letting us all think that you are not only a
former druggy, but also too cowardly to admit it.

Personally, I don't believe Bush is so concerned with his image. His reasons
for nondisclosure run deeper - his drug use would have implications no
politician these days wants to admit.

If he actually used cocaine, stopped using it on his own and built a
successful career in spite of it, what does this tell us? That, perhaps, the
average citizen can handle the drug issue without government intervention,
that maybe we don't need powerful politicians to protect us from ourselves?
No politician, Republican or Democrat, wants us coming to conclusions like that!
