DRUG PROFITS
Re: Attorney General Ujjal Dosanjh's Aug. 20 letter refuting Jody Paterson's
column of Aug. 17, "Dosanjh's hard-line drug ideas won't work"
He claims his platform will include the goal of - are you ready Mr. and Mrs.
Canada? - "getting tougher on individuals who callously profit from
addiction."
Will this include the prosecutors, appointees, prohibition agents, certain
politicians and those who run the new prohibition (drug) courts?
Not to mention the prison guards, prison builders, drug-testing firms, those
who man roadblocks, and all the extra police the public must also pay for
just to satisfy prohibitionists penchants to punish instead of heal?
