MEXICAN NAVY SEIZES TONS OF COCAINE IN RECORD BUST
The Mexican navy seized 10 tons of cocaine from a boat off the coast of
southwestern Mexico in one of the country's largest drug busts.
On Saturday, a navy destroyer and two gunboats intercepted a
Mexico-registered fishing boat with 15 people aboard and found the cocaine,
according to a news report.
Two months ago the navy intercepted a boat carrying about 6 tons of cocaine
off the Mexican coast.
