WRONG MESSAGE TO KIDS
AFTER seeing your article on the drive to legalize marijuana (Page 1A, Aug.
17), I am deeply disturbed about what the Mercury News deems front-page
news.
The NORML group seems to think anyone should be allowed to smoke marijuana.
What message are we giving to our young people today? We as a community need
to be more consistent in pointing our youth toward healthier endeavors.
