ARE YOU A LEADER OR A BRAT?
Gee, Dub. Help us out here. Cuz we can hear ol' Ann Richards whining
in the background: "Poor George. Born with a silver spoon in his nose.
. . ."
This cocaine-use rumor matters because a young man doing what he knows
is wrong isn't motivated to change if he knows he can get away with
it. Sound familiar?
And anyone else witnessing the act has leverage forever, directly or
through an intermediary. We need to know if you are compromised. Our
enemies are good enough without having a Trojan horse in the White
House.
If you had a change of attitude and laid all your errant ways on the
altar of forgiveness, tell us. If you are free of the effects of this
stuff, tell us. People change when they desperately want to change.
If you had to use coca products to keep your thick head academically
competitive, we'll understand. You won't be the first.
But if you're just a rich, spoiled brat getting preferential treatment
and placement in college, the Air National Guard, the business world
and the world of politics, who avoided dishonorable discharge from
unauthorized drug use during years in the Guard, you're in a heap of
trouble.
Ann Richards will make a fool out of you. And you'll deserve
it.
Leaders are people who choose to seek the best thought, word and deed
all the time, and self-correct everyday as they discover their errors.
Are you a leader? Or just a spoiled brat born with a silver spoon in
your nose?
