HYPOCRISY OF THE REPUBLICAN FRONT-RUNNER AND HIS FOLLOWERS IS NOT HEALTHY
FOR OUR NATION

Isn't it curious to watch the Republicans while they salivate over the
prospect of George W. Bush becoming president? They love this guy. Why?

These same people severely criticized President Clinton for his womanizing
and for his possibly smoking marijuana as a youth. Now they have Bush to
support.

This Bush has a record of being unfaithful to women he dated. (Can we say
womanizing?) He may have used not just marijuana, but cocaine! (Can we say
felony?)

People convicted of a felony lose the right to vote, let alone hold an
elective office! Can we say hypocrisy as Bush signs a new law in Texas that
would have put himself in jail for 25 years for doing the same thing?

These same Clinton-bashers are rationalizing their adoration of Bush by
saying it all happened when Bush was a youth and he didn't know better. I
would assume that means these same people are willing to forgive all other
people up the age of 28 who use illegal drugs and are unfaithful to women,
because they are just "growing up"?

Too bad most of them do not have Daddy's family name and fortune to get them
out of trouble. (Oh, yeah, and get them out of serving in the military the
way most others had to.)

I was willing to deal with Clinton on most issues because he did not
represent himself as sanctimonious and better than others.

The hypocrisy of the current Republican front-runner and his followers is
not healthy for our nation, or for our youth.
