Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland has been sentenced to nearly a
year in jail for violating probation a third time in a heroin case.
Weiland,31,has been jailed since Aug.13 after admitting the violation.He
was treated at a Southern California hospital in July for a heroin overdose.
