WINDSOR 'SORRY ABOUT DRUG'

LORD FREDERICK WINDSOR, who has confessed to experimenting with cocaine,
returned to London from New York and said of using the drug: "It was a bad
mistake which I am never going to repeat".

Lord Frederick, 20, the son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and a
history student at Magdalen College, Oxford, said he used cocaine at a
party in London three months ago.

He was forced to confess after being confronted by journalists with the
allegation in New York, where he has been doing work experience during the
summer.

Yesterday Lord Frederick, a cousin of the Queen and great-grandson of
George V, denied that his actions could influence Prince William. "I have
never, ever, influenced anybody to behave in this way and could never," he
said, adding that he hoped Prince Charles was "not too worried".
